My experience as a clinician has been varied. I started my career in mental health working in a therapeutic group home, supporting the clinical staff. I continued my career as a case manager in a program focused on creating healthy families. I completed my practicum/internship at a residential facility, working with elementary through high school aged youth. I also started working with prevention and treatment with addictions. Following my graduation, I worked in an outpatient substance abuse clinic with adults and then transitioned to a residential facility where I worked with teens. I was given the opportunity to work with military families on JBER. Most recently, I’ve been working in a community mental health center.
I enjoy working with people of all ages. Some of the areas I work with are mood disorders, including depression, parenting concerns, adjustment issues, addiction, trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, and behavior issues.
